Collaboration: Alexander Dobell for MY Tuxedo

Recently I have been working on a collection of designs for My Tuxedo. These will be for their in house brand, Alexander Dobell, 2015 Autumn/Winter collection. I can't say too much of what the finished product will be just yet, but hopefully this fella will make the cut!

'Mothers Penguins'

Penguin Chicks
Watercolour and Biro
My mum loves penguins so her Birthday card was of these cuties. I'm sure that you will be happy to know that these little ones will soon be on Society6, after a little computer enhancement!

Commission: Bantam Chicken

Bantam Chicken
Watercolour and Biro
A recent commission that needed to match in with a new kitchen with a colour palette of brown and orange. I felt a cheeky Bantam Chicken would fit right in!

Easter Bunting

I was asked by King and Chasemore, on Western Road Brighton, to create a Easter design that could be made into bunting. This was to accompany an Easter drawing competition in conjunction with a local primary school.

Colin and his Magpie

It always makes me sad when you go into bric-a-brac type shops, like Snooper's Paradise in Brighton, which are always full of boxes of old photographs. These are peoples family members and memories that are now for sale. So have decided to save some by giving them a twist and a new lease of life. For example meet Colin and his Magpie.

Christmas Cards 2013 Part 2.

Completed Christmas cards, I couldn't find any envelopes that were to my liking so I made them using origami, cards which un-tuck out to a pin wheel then open out to reveal the Christmas card.

Cold Turkey (Christmas Cards 2013)

Have spent the past couple of evenings creating this years Christmas cards. This year have gone for a 'Cold Turkey' theme. Created through hand drawing the turkeys in scarfs, then scanning into the computer before editing, adding some colour and making into a repeat pattern. They are now ready to send to the printers.

Do you like these??!

I have entered a competition on the ohh dear website to become a new contributor, I have three designs produced onto cushions, each priced at £24.95. Perfect for all the family, friends and vague acquaintances this Christmas! See below for designs submitted and links to website:

 BlackBirds:

Birds on Grass:

 Great Tits eat Grasshoppers:

We Eat Grasshoppers (Digital Version)

Very first repeat pattern created on Photoshop! Yes the previous Great Tits eat Grasshoppers was created by lining each individual image in line horizontally and vertically to get it perfect - very time consuming I can assure you!
